The stars of Hollywood under the stars of Liverpool.

Calderstones Park – the natural wonderland frequented by hundreds of thousands of people a year and one of Liverpool’s most stunning parks. Amid the beauty, did you know there’s a secret garden? Hidden behind bushes and locked behind a gate lays a stunning garden to the iconic Calderstones Mansion that we will be turning into an outdoor cinema on 30th September. We’re not giving away any more clues where it is. Details on how exactly to find the garden will be emailed to those who got tickets a few days before the cinema.

Whilst we’re being mysterious about the location, we’re not being mysterious about the films. We are delighted to announce we will be showing Breakfast at Tiffany’s on October 7th and When Harry Met Sally on October 8th – two timeless classics. The 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany’s, based on Truman Capote’s novella, starred Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly, one of the most iconic characters to ever appear on screen. The seemingly naive young girl who is sought out by wealthy men and looking to marry into money is befriended by a struggling writer. Pretty dresses, jewellery and iconic quotes.

Does sex make it impossible for men and women to be true friends? When Harry Met Sally chronicles this dilemma through the eleven year relationship between Harry and Sally who meet in college, then pursue their own lives until they reconnect ten years later. Full of orgasmic scenes – it’s a classic love film that will be perfect for the already very romantic setting.

The gates to the secret garden will open at 7pm, arrive early to grab your seat and a drink and the film will start roughly around 8.30pm. There will be entertainment from a local musician who will be singing some classic love songs to set the mood. Tickets are just £12 so grab your mates or loved ones and snap them up as this will sell out quickly.

*Tickets are for entry

*If the weather is looking bad, there will be a gazebo

*Directions to the garden will be emailed out a few days before the cinema
